About the Role
Simple Apex Accounting is the precision engine of the Simple X ecosystem. We uphold the highest standards of accounting practice, delivering accurate, complete, and defensible financial reporting through disciplined execution and deep technical expertise.
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Apex Team—someone who values quality over shortcuts, thrives in regulated environments, and takes ownership from assessment through to finalisation.
This role is suited to a professional who combines strong technical ability with sound judgement, attention to detail, and a commitment to doing things properly.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Completed accounting qualification
Completed SAIPA articles (0 - 1 year post article experience welcome)
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience
Experience working with multiple clients and complex portfolios
Technical & Professional Skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong understanding of compliance, controls, and professional standards
Ability to exercise sound judgement under pressure
Confident in reviewing work and upholding quality standards
Comfortable working within structured processes and systems
